The chateau is situated in the Mayenne department, about 161miles West from Paris by motorway. Paris is 1h15 away by train. The chateau is situated in a nice hilly countryside close to a small village with shops and services, health services as well.

The history of this important seigneury dates back from the 12th century. The buildings, as we see them today, date back from the 17th and 19th century. The large dovecote tower dates from the 16th century.

The chateau comprises :
On the ground floor: vestibule, important stairway, 2 sitting rooms, dining room, kitchen, the former kitchen used as sitting room, laundry and toilet. The reception rooms present several decorative period features from the 18th century (fireplaces, woodwork, and doors) and a remarkable quality of decoration and finishing.

An interesting dwelling in the old dovecote tower from the 16thc century.
A building used as garage, shed, woodshed and workshop.
A caretaker's house.
A chapel with great decoration of fleur de Lys and a vault that represents the starry sky that reminds the Apparition of Notre-Dame de Pontmain.

The territory of about 41 acres is well laid out around the chateau. It begins with a long avenue extended by some woods, meadows and a pond. There is a remarkable French formal garden with flower beds delineated by some small boxwood hedges, interlinked by some gravel paths.
